New year. New quarter. New Month.
There is so much to be excited for in January 2011. I have some changes in my year. Starting in February, I will get to be home with Finn an extra day. That's exciting because he is really so much fun these days. I like to call him my lil' sponge because he just soaks in so much.
I spent some time recently putting together my goals for the year. Once I got them together, I had lunch with my accountability partner. We discussed each others goals and how we can work together. It's so wonderful to have someone who is invested in where you want to go. And same for me to be invested in someone else and where they want to go.
I challenge you if you haven't already - write up your goals for the year and have ask someone to be your partner for the year. It's really nice to have someone outside of the family to do this. Take it from me, the only way to make sure you reach your goals is by writing them down and having some accountability. There are actually statistics around this concept...
"Psychologists say that 95% - 97% of the people in the world do NOT have written goals and fail, while 3-5% have written goals and succeed."
I would like to be that percentage that succeed. How about you?
So cheers to a new year! Here's to being balanced this year. I will be posting my goals just so you can see how I do mine. Hope it will help you.
Much love!
